WELCOME TO NICOLE'S DREAMS
Nicole Schouéri Abouhalka was operated on in 2004 for a non-malignant brain tumour, a meningioma.
In Thanksgiving for the blessing of her recovery and the help she has received, with the support of her three sons, her late husband and
Carol Herrmann, a very dear friend, who was the first to read the initial draft of Nicole’s writing. Her comments were, “You made me laugh, you made me cry, you made me think. Thank you for sharing.” Ever since Carol was by Nicole’s side for the entire process.
Marcel Doré, formerly her family doctor when the author moved to Guelph, has also become a very dear friend of the family. He was a moral support to them from the moment she received the news of her brain tumour.
Sam Haddad, a long time friend, joined them for his knowledge of the Business.
They opened a non-profit organization " Nicole's Dreams (Foundation)" to sell "OH! CANADA" the book which writing was another factor in her rehabilitation.
Nicole's Dreams (Foundation) gave the proceeds from the sale of this book to different Support Groups and Associations.
FREE of CHARGE, through direct contact with Schools and Municipal Public Libraries, the author presents the book and converse with attendees.
For children 7 to 9 years old, Nicole reads a shortened version of Whitey.
Copies are donated to the host and to Hospitals' Gift Shops.
Book Clubs Members choose the non-profit beneficiary of their choice.
